A rocket launched by Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip impacted inside the enclave on Wednesday, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

It was the second such incident in three days.

“A short while ago, a projectile was launched from Gaza and fell within Gaza. The details are under review,” the military announced.

“The IDF recently attacked several launch sites in the area from which the launch that fell in the Gaza Strip earlier today was detected,” it subsequently stated.

On Monday, a terrorist rocket that was fired toward Israeli territory from Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah landed inside the Strip.

Following the incident, the IDF “struck the launch site from which the projectile was fired, as well as an additional launch site in the area,” the military announced.

On Feb. 13, a 14-year-old Palestinian was killed in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip when a terrorist rocket fell inside the coastal enclave. Unconfirmed video footage posted to social media showed a projectile impacting a densely populated area shortly after being launched.

IDF reinforcements have been deployed to the border with Gaza, reportedly amid suspicions that Hamas terrorists were planning an attack on Israeli forces in the area.

The Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday fired warning shots at suspects throughout the Gaza Strip who posed a threat to troops, according to the military.

The IDF also fired toward “a number of vessels that violated security restrictions in the Gaza Strip’s maritime space,” it stated.

“The vessels did not move away, but after additional firing, they returned to shore,” according to the Tuesday night statement.

The army reiterated its call to “obey IDF instructions, not approach forces deployed in the area and pass through agreed checkpoints.”

U.S. Central Command stated that the “precision strike” targeting Ali Husayn al-Ulaywi was part of ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorists threatening Americans and U.S. allies.
“Wikipedia’s administrators showed that they are above trivial details like formal charges, a designated prosecutor, basic decorum, distinction between prosecution and judge, dispassionate adjudication and so forth,” Larry Sanger told JNS.
“We want to hear from our partners. We want to make sure that their views are taken into account,” the U.S. secretary of state told reporters at Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi.
The decision follows a U.N.-commissioned investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct and comes ahead of a July 24 vote by ICC member states on whether to remove Khan from office.
“It’s difficult to stand among ancient stones and not recognize the power of a people maintaining a connection to places that have shaped their story for thousands of years,” said one participant.
