Jewish teen harassed at knifepoint on Brooklyn bus

A Jewish teenager was attacked on a city bus in Brooklyn, N.Y., by two strangers who grabbed his earbuds and yarmulke while brandishing a knife and making anti-Semitic remarks earlier this week, according to police.

The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is probing the Tuesday incident.

The suspects gave the victim, Zachary Hershkovich, 15, his belongings back before exiting the bus.

The attack is one of more than a dozen similar such incidents reported over the past week in New York.
