British military expert Col. Richard Kemp: Ceasefire now would be ‘dangerous’

How does urban warfare differ from other IDF operations? Is Hezbollah the next front Israel has to tackle after Hamas in Gaza?

JNS Jerusalem bureau chief Alex Traiman and Col. Richard Kemp, former British Army officer and commander, analyze the complexities Israel has faced fighting Hamas terrorists under intense international scrutiny in an urban environment such as Gaza City.

Kemp draws similarities and differences between Israel’s current military campaign and the prior Western military campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan that he helped lead.

Kemp further posits whether the war will expand to tackle another Iranian proxy, Hezbollah in Lebanon, which has far more weapon strength than Hamas.

Kemp gives Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strong grades on handling the war effort following the mass-murder spree by Hamas operatives in southern Israel on Oct. 7, which resulted in the deaths of 1,200 people, the wounding of thousands and terrorists dragging as many as 240 hostages back into the Gaza Strip.

Sgt. Noam Hamburger, 23, was a technology and maintenance specialist in the IDF’s 401st Brigade.
“We are in the stage of finalizing this memorandum of understanding, focused on ending the war,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
We would encourage him to self-deport before he is never given a chance to return, Department of Homeland Security spokesperson says.
The IDF will continue to remove any immediate threat, the army said.
The Iraqi militia commander was extradited to the U.S. from Turkey over connection to terrorist attacks on Jewish targets.
To bring about the terrorist organization’s complete collapse, Israel must employ both civilian and territorial leverage.
