Israel’s defense minister called the attempt to establish a moral equivalence between Israel and Hamas “despicable.”
France and South Africa supported the move, while the United States and most other European countries condemned it.
“France has been warning for many months of the need for strict compliance with international humanitarian law,” said France’s foreign minister.
Israel should “immediately implement an aggressive strategy of non-cooperation,” according to law professor Avi Bell.
The independent senator from Vermont said the prosecutor “is right to take these actions.”
The man convicted of killing 11 Jewish worshippers will need to appeal to the Third Circuit Court after an official reply that his case is “baseless.”
“The International Criminal Court must be allowed to conduct its work independently and without interference,” the Squad member stated.

A senior official said the decision to request arrest warrants gives encouragement to Israel to continue its “war of extermination” against Hamas.
