Some 26 anti-Semitic hate crimes took place from May 2 to May 23, two days before Israel and Hamas in Gaza agreed to a ceasefire.
The president said that Attorney General Merrick Garland and the U.S. Department of Justice will be using the “all of the tools at its disposal to combat hate crimes.”

Dr. Giovanni Quer, who conducted the study, says “we are facing a mixed trend.”
“The only kosher pizza place in the neighborhood, across the street where I go to synagogue, has been vandalized. This is happening everywhere,” said New York City Council Member Ben Kallos.
