The Montgomery County Police Department is investigating the incident as a hate crime.
Meanwhile, they overwhelmingly passed two anti-Israel resolutions.
They are against students who were involved in two incidents against the Jewish fraternity AEPi.
One student told JNS on the sidelines of an Israel on Campus Coalition event that “there are many days when I worry for my safety.”

“In the wake of Oct. 7, college campuses across the country failed to provide their Jewish students with a safe place to learn and study,” said Michael Masters, the group’s national director and CEO.
The allegations included 124 against activities carried out by students, six regarding faculty.
“About time,” said Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), chair of the House Education and the Workforce Committee. “Actions have consequences.”
“The most important thing is that we get this right,” wrote Ray Rodrigues, chancellor of the state university system.
