Negotiations on a Gaza ceasefire and the release of hostages are continuing in Doha.
“It is unacceptable that man-made and avoidable conflict-induced hunger continues to afflict civilians in Gaza,” the countries, including France and the United Kingdom, said in a joint statement.
“The IDF directs its strikes solely at military targets and works to mitigate harm to civilians and civilian infrastructure as much as possible.”
The Israeli president stated that the information he received made it clear that the “true obstacle to humanitarian relief is Hamas.”
