Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) has gone into self-quarantine following an appearance 10 days ago with a hospital executive who later tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

Gottheimer is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test after appearing at a March 15 press conference with Bergen County executive James Tedesco, and Holy Name Medical Center president and CEO Michael Maron.

Maron has tested positive for the coronavirus and is being quarantined at his home. To be cautionary, Tedesco has also self-quarantined.

Gottheimer is reported as not experiencing any symptoms.

So far, three members of Congress have tested positive for COVID-19: Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) and Ben McAdams (D-Utah).

In addition to Gottheimer, at least 30 other members of Congress have announced that they have self-quarantined for the time being.
