“The safety of our community is under attack,” CIJA said, “and so too are the values and way of life that define us as Canadians.”
“There is nothing more important than the work of our outstanding women and men in this office,” U.S. Attorney Leigha Simonton said. “I will be forever grateful to have been a part of it.”
“Government officials have to understand that the time for thoughts and prayers is over,” stated CIJA, an agency of the Canadian Jewish Federations.
A bomb was thrown over the wall of Jewish communal offices in Cape Town.
“Even though Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi is dead, we assume the investigation behind his crimes, including one count of terrorism, will not end,” Daniel Goldwin, a spokesman for the Jewish Federation of Chicago, told JNS.
