One of the Palestinian terrorists who killed seven people in a shooting attack in Jaffa on Tuesday night was shot dead, while his accomplice was severely wounded, Israeli police said on Wednesday.

The terrorists, residents of Hebron in Judea, reportedly crossed Israel’s pre-1967 lines in the Jerusalem area. They were neutralized at the scene by police officers, municipal security guards and armed civilians.

Police identified the terrorists as 19-year-old Mohammad Mask, who was killed at the scene, and 25-year-old Ahmad Himoni, who was severely injured.

In an overnight Israeli raid in Hebron, the IDF arrested several suspects for allegedly assisting the terrorists in acquiring weapons and bringing them across Israel’s pre-1967 lines.
