KKL-JNF, Ant Group partner for research in sustainability, green development

Joint efforts will also be applied to encourage public participation in environmental protection.

Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF), one of the oldest green organizations in the world, and Ant Group, an innovative technology company, announced a scientific and technological partnership to develop innovative solutions for forestation and environmental conservation, and to promote green development for social good.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by these two partners on Earth Day, a joint team of scientists and experts will be organized to conduct academic and applied research on environmental conservation solutions, such as making forest management sustainable, bolstering biodiversity and protecting natural ecosystems.

Research results from the partnership will be applied to start green innovation forest projects and encourage public participation in environmental protection.

The MOU was signed online and will be stored on AntChain, the group’s blockchain-based technology solutions.
