AFYBA

AFYBA’S history began in 1939, when Rabbi Moshe Zvi Neria, a student of Rav Avraham Yitzchok HaCohen Kook and future Israel Prize winner, went to Kfar Haroeh to create a new kind of yeshiva high school. Over the next 80 years, AFYBA blossomed into a network of 70 institutions—Yeshivot, Ulpanot, Hesder and Pre-Military Academies—that span the entire length and width of Israel.
The on-ground visits provided more than 100 Americans with an opportunity to connect with Israeli families enduring immense hardship.
Join the movement to bolster Israel’s resilience amidst turmoil.
Recognizing the dire need for unity and assistance, AFYBA has kick-started pivotal initiatives to offer aid and bolster national security.
Jack Gourdji is the new executive director at American Friends Yeshivot and Ulpanot of Bnei Akiva.
