Terrorist shot after trying to stab soldiers in Binyamin region

No troops were hurt in the incident, according to the IDF.

Israeli forces on Tuesday afternoon shot and killed a terrorist who had attempted to stab soldiers near Ateret in the Binyamin region of Judea and Samaria.

No soldiers were injured in the incident, which occurred at the Halamish Junction on Route 465 while the reservists were conducting a routine inspection, according to the IDF.

On Tuesday afternoon, police officers arrested a 14-year-old girl from eastern Jerusalem in the vicinity of the capital’s Old City on suspicion that she intended to carry out a terrorist attack, Ynet reported.

According to the report, the girl left a suicide note in the Old City in which she expressed support for Hamas. Police officers discovered the note, which led to her arrest.

Three terrorists killed in Tulkarm

Three Palestinian terrorists were reportedly killed in the Tulkarm area in Samaria on Monday night after being ambushed by Israeli security forces.

A video of the alleged incident distributed by Arab media appeared to show six terrorists fleeing in the wrong direction towards the Israeli forces, with three shot and killed. The incident occurred during a raid on a house in the village of Akhtaba north of the city.

The IDF operated overnight Monday in the Tulkarm and nearby Nur Shams camps in Samaria, where they destroyed explosives intended to harm troops. In addition, two wanted suspects were arrested and an aircraft eliminated armed terrorists.

The Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that nine Palestinians were injured and that military bulldozers destroyed infrastructure.

Three Palestinians arrested over deadly Samaria terror shooting

Israeli security forces arrested three Palestinians suspected of involvement in Sunday’s deadly terrorist attack in the Binyamin region of Samaria, authorities said on Monday.

The three are suspected of killing Arab Israeli Ammar Mansour, 33, from the Beit Hanina neighborhood of northeastern Jerusalem, in a shooting along Route 465, between the towns of Ofra and Eli. Mansour worked as a delivery contractor and was a father of two.

A second victim was seriously wounded in the attack, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed to JNS. The woman, a 42-year-old resident of Tel Aviv’s Jaffa quarter, was driving a separate vehicle, according to the Kan News public broadcaster.

A Palestinian passerby took her to a hospital in Ramallah, from where she was eventually transferred to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem Ein Kerem through the Al-Jib crossing.

Israeli security officials said that two of the Palestinian suspects were arrested in Ramallah while the third was detained in the Jalazone camp north of the city.
