“It’s so important to show the Israeli people and the world at large that Israel has a strong supportive base,” a Yeshiva University senior told JNS.
“What’s deeply disturbing is that people you would expect to offer a more nuanced perspective are resorting to overly simplistic analyses,” Yifat Bitton told JNS.
An attendee of a Jewish election party told JNS that “without Trump in power, I think Israel is dead in the water.”
“Every one of our undergraduate students knew someone that was injured, taken hostage or sadly killed,” Rabbi Ari Berman, the school president, told JNS.
“We have the largest number of applications for undergraduate students, the highest number of students on campus in 15 years and this year launched a new undergraduate track in Israel,” the school said.
“We can’t turn away Jewish students who feel unsafe or unprotected on their college campuses,” said Yeshiva University President Ari Berman.

Rabbi Ari Berman, president of the university, said the Jewish philanthropist “sets the standard for impactful leadership in this country.”
The Pennsylvania senator had told “Jewish Insider” in April 2022 that he would visit Israel “as rapidly as possible and make sure I see firsthand the dynamic on the ground.”
“I have been profoundly disappointed with Harvard’s inability to stand up for the Jewish community,” the pro-Israel senator said.
“For the future of higher education, the American university system needs to meet the challenges of this moment,” YU’s president said.
“You’re always welcome back to my office,” the Pennsylvania senator told the more than 100 Yeshiva University students who visited him in Washington.
