Many of the incidents have to do with Holocaust jokes or direct harassment of Jewish students, according to the audit.

While many organizations that apply include day schools, synagogues and community centers are Jewish, the grant can be accessed by other religions and nonprofits that may be under threat of terrorist acts.
It may mean asking someone what “settler colonialism” is or whether they can define a “Jewish lobby,” explains Jonah Cohen of CAMERA. “It can also mean prodding someone about why they believe a certain position they hold is true.”
The complaint says a Jewish doctor was prevented from operating to the same extent as his colleagues, reassigned and blocked from continuing research at the Karolinska University Hospital.
“We can’t fight what we can’t define,” said Gavriela Geller, executive director of the Jewish Community Relations Bureau, American Jewish Committee in Kansas.
“This collaborative effort will send a signal to communities that their safety and well-being are a public priority,” said Mohammed Hashim of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation and a task force co-chair.
It was scheduled at the same time as the third day of confirmation hearings for U.S. Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson.
The effort comes weeks after a committee meeting on March 8, when Lipstadt’s nomination was blocked by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) after his objections.
