They suggest five actions directed towards the administration to counter such concerning behavior at the start of a new academic year.
“Antisemitism, or any form of hatred, has no place in our schools or community and will not be tolerated,” Mark Secaur, superintendent of the Smithtown Central School District, told JNS.
The action comes “in response to repeated acts of heinous antisemitism” at the private college in Lower Manhattan.
The financial drop was the largest in nearly a decade.
Jewish employees say the magazine publisher did not adequately address concerns about anti-Israel content and similar activism by co-workers.
“Liberal colleges in America are flawed institutions doing a poor job of preparing students for the real world,” said philanthropist David Magerman.
“More disappointing than Harvard’s fundraising is its failure to combat campus antisemitism,” said Rep. Ritchie Torres.

“I want them to realize that when they share their story, people are going to respect them more than if they hide that story,” the program’s leader, Rabbi Erez Sherman of Sinai Temple in Los Angeles, told JNS.
“Brown’s mission doesn’t encompass resolving or adjudicating global conflict,” stated the university’s president and the chancellor of its governing corporation.
“Violence is the only path forward,” the Columbia University Apartheid Divest group wrote. “We support liberation by any means necessary.”
“During an April 16 event planned by the Jewish Law Students Association, community members were subjected to antisemitic insults,” Loyola Marymount University said in a statement.
Einav Tsach, a junior marketing and journalism major, says of the largely supportive campus environment that he is “very fortunate to be at a place where we are heard and we are seen, and we hope it continues that way.”
