Addressing the world’s most sophisticated anti-Israel organization—the United Nations—the Israeli prime minister fought back against calls for Palestinian statehood, saying “Israel will not allow you to shove a terror state down our throats.”
“The existence of the site constituted a violation of the understanding between Israel and Lebanon,” the Israeli military said.
“The IDF regrets any harm to uninvolved individuals and operates to minimize such harm as much as possible,” the army said.
IDF soldiers continue to fight in Gaza “for the final defeat of Hamas and the return of all our hostages” held by the terrorist group, the PM said.
The operative had been involved in efforts to gather intelligence on IDF troops in the area.
The Israeli military also targeted and killed a terrorist in Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force.
“We carried out a series of almost fantastical operations, one after another,” the Mossad director said during the annual ceremony.
The Israeli military warned civilians to leave the area ahead of the operation.
“Ecuador’s courageous step sends a clear message against Iran’s terror network and strengthens global security.”
The terror organization continues to “rehabilitate its terrorist infrastructure, while endangering Lebanon’s civilians and using them as human shields,” the IDF said.
The Israeli-Russian graduate student was freed last week after two years in Kata’ib Hezbollah captivity in Iraq.
Comparing Israel’s war in Gaza to the U.S.-led coalition against Fallujah in Iraq, the premier said that the Strip posed a much greater challenge.
