After meeting with the Israeli prime minister, the New Jersey Democrat told JNS that Israel’s goal is to “crush Hamas” and seek a multinational governance structure for the enclave.
“The antisemitic rot that has corroded college campuses must be eradicated,” stated Rep. Virginia Foxx. “Enough is enough.”
“We’re not asking for them to change their businesses,” said Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO and national director of the ADL. “We’re just asking for them to get it right.”
“It clearly wasn’t a major issue in terms of the rhetoric, but it doesn’t mean voters didn’t consider that issue at the polls,” Ashley Koning, of Rutgers, told JNS.
A fourth person, who is a teaching assistant at Cornell University, also was arrested for assaulting a police officer.
“We must get every hostage home. The United States should never leave any man or woman behind,” the New Jersey congressman stated.
“I strongly condemn the antisemitic threats and violent behavior made by the individual on this flight—acts of hate have no place in our society,” Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) told JNS.
