Gantz reveals 10 Iranian missile facilities in Syria

It has become “yet another Iranian front—a factory for advanced, strategic weapons,” said the Israeli defense minister.

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz unveiled a map depicting more than 10 Syrian research military complexes, including the underground “Masyaf” facility.

Iran uses Syria’s Centre D’Etudes et de Recherchés Scientifiques (CERS) facilities to manufacture advanced missiles and weaponry for its proxies.

“Iran transformed CERS into production facilities for mid and long-range, precise missiles and weapons, provided to Hezbollah and Iranian proxies. In other words, it became yet another Iranian front—a factory for advanced, strategic weapons,” said Gantz, speaking at the annual Jerusalem Post conference in New York City.

Regarding Iran’s nuclear program, Gantz said: “Our intelligence confirms international reports about Iran’s steady progress, including both its production capabilities and rate of enrichment.”
