The Israeli premier left immediately after convening the Security Cabinet amid the intensifying war with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that at least two explosive drones were launched at the Jewish state “from the east.”
Operatives who were killed included commanders and members of “Hamas’s various combat arrays,” the IDF said.
Earlier, IDF Northern Command head Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin said that the army needs to be prepared for a ground invasion.
The elite Hezbollah unit’s blueprint for assault on the Galilee was the model for the Hamas mass murder attack on the northwestern Negev.
The strike came less than 24 hours after the attempted assassination of Hezbollah’s No. 3 terrorist commander, Ali Karaki, in the same area.
The Israeli Air Force struck more than 1,600 Hezbollah targets in Southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley over the past 24 hours as part of the campaign.
Israel’s government has approved the declaration of a “special emergency situation” countrywide.
Hundreds of launchers comprising thousands of launcher barrels have been destroyed in successive waves of Israeli strikes on Hezbollah’s rocket infrastructure.
The declaration does not affect citizens directly, with the IDF Home Front Command defensive guidelines remaining unchanged as of Monday night.
