Four Syrian military personnel were killed and one was injured by Israeli airstrikes on Saturday that targeted military sites in Syria’s coastal and central regions, the state-controlled Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said.

The report claimed that Syrian air defenses intercepted some of the Israeli missiles, which were allegedly fired from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea.

“At approximately 6:30 this morning, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression over the Mediterranean Sea, from the direction of Banias, targeting some posts in the central and coastal region,” SANA quoted a military source as saying.

Reuters on Saturday cited regional and intelligence sources as stating that Israel has increased its strikes on Syrian airports and air bases in recent months in order to impede Iran’s increasing use of aerial supply lines to proxies and allies in Syria and Lebanon, mainly targeting supply routes to Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah.

Two members of the Syrian armed forces and three others were reportedly killed in an Israeli missile strike on the Shayrat Air Base in Syria’s Homs Province on Nov. 13.

Citing a military source, Reuters reported that the strikes targeted “a runway in the sprawling air base,” noting that it had recently been used by the Iranian air force.

“Deploy law enforcement, counterterrorism or military forces, as appropriate, to synagogues and other locations hosting services or events,” the U.S. agency told its diplomatic missions worldwide to pass along to host governments.
The Jewish, Italian, Irish and British “pioneers and people who built this city” want Bible-based American values, the Israeli consul general in New York told JNS. “They don’t want the Sharia laws.”
“We were extremely proud to see this work come to fruition,” Shay Salamon, executive director of Latin American affairs at Combat Antisemitism Movement, told JNS.
The Irgun vessel will serve as a “tangible symbol” of the imperative to never descend into civil war, the Israeli premier said.
