Israeli Air Force fighter jets completed an extensive wave of attacks on Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in Lebanon on Sunday, the military said.

The strikes on military buildings and rocket launching positions, among other targets, were in retaliation for rocket fire on the Israeli town of Shlomi and the Keren Naftali lookout/archaeological site, which also drew immediate artillery fire at the sources of those attacks.

Earlier in the day, the IDF ordered the blocking of several routes in the Upper Galilee. Rocket warning sirens sounded in Moshav Avivim and Kibbutz Yiron on Sunday afternoon.

On Saturday, IDF artillery attacked several sites in Lebanon. Additionally, IAF fighter jets attacked a Hezbollah “military” headquarters.

Also on Saturday, an IDF reserve soldier was moderately wounded by shrapnel from a projectile fired from Lebanon towards the area of Kibbutz Manara.

The IDF announced on Friday that Sgt. Amit Hod Ziv, 19, from the 188th Armored Brigade’s 71st Battalion and Rosh Ha’ayin, was killed and another soldier seriously wounded in a morning Hezbollah rocket attack from Lebanon at the area of Moshav Shtula.

“Even in times of war, we care for all the citizens of Israel without exception,” says Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
Ahmed Faiz Salem Abu Rida “systematically violated the terms of the agreement, including by crossing the Yellow Line multiple times, transferring funds to suspects for terrorist activity and posing a threat to IDF soldiers.”
All assailants were neutralized.
Two of the men were severely wounded by an anti-tank missile and three others were hurt by a drone strike.
Israel temporarily asked people of all faiths to avoid worship at major religious sites in Jerusalem’s Old City, the prime minister said.
Talks with Tehran are progressing “very nicely,” president says, adding that military strikes have crippled the Islamic Republic’s forces and new leaders are “more reasonable.”
