Inside the high-stakes White House summit

WATCH: “Israel Undiplomatic” with Mark Regev and Ruthie Blum, Ep. 60

What’s being negotiated behind closed doors at the White House, and could it reshape the Middle East forever?

In this episode of “Israel Undiplomatic,” senior JNS contributing editor Ruthie Blum and former Israeli ambassador to the United Kingdom Mark Regev—both former advisers at the Prime Minister’s Office—break down the high-stakes Netanyahu–Trump summit set to take place next week in Washington, D.C.

With a proposed 60-day Gaza ceasefire on the table, a potential release of the rest of the hostages and renewed efforts to expand the Abraham Accords, this episode dives deep into the core diplomatic and military challenges Israel faces at this critical juncture. Regev and Blum discuss what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump truly hope to achieve at this third White House meeting in less than six months.

The hosts analyze the recent U.S.-Israel military strikes that severely crippled Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and discuss the likelihood of further Israeli action if Tehran attempts to rebuild. They explore the risks and implications of making any deal with Hamas, especially one that might leave the terror group in power in Gaza. They also consider how regional players such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Syria and Lebanon could fit into a post-war Gaza framework through the revitalization of the Abraham Accords.

Finally, they ask whether a quiet military surprise might be underway behind the diplomatic theater.
