Federal agents turning US into ‘Nazi Germany,’ Texas Dem congresswoman says

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) said during a primary debate on Saturday that federal agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are making the country more like Nazi Germany.

“They are turning us into Nazi Germany by saying they are gonna go door to door,” Crockett said during the debate against James Talarico, a Democrat Texas state representative.

Both are running for the Senate against Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas).

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum stated in 2018 that “sloppy analogizing” of things or people to Nazis is an “oversimplified approach to complex history” that “is dangerous.”

The Associated Press reported that the two Democrats “differed more on style than substance in their first debate for U.S. Senate in heavily Republican Texas.”

“He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine,” the U.S. president said.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani flagged a “140% increase” in anti-Muslim hate crimes, though 58% of all hate crimes in the city targeted Jews.
The Queens district attorney said the defendant was taken into custody after failing to appear in court.
Darryll Pines, president of the public university, stated that the image was “abhorrent and unacceptable.”
The two men were hit by “friendly fire” during a nighttime raid.
“This attack not only affects us, but is also a signal to the Jewish community in the Netherlands,” the Christians for Israel nonprofit said.
