BuiltUp Ventures Managing Partner Oded Eliashiv Keynotes Israel Innovation Discovery Day at GITEX in Dubai

First Israeli Business, Tech, and Investor Delegation to the UAE Celebrates the Abraham Accords Peace Agreement with Meetings, Presentations, and Workshops.

BuiltUp Ventures Managing Partner Oded Eliashiv was a keynote speaker for Israel Innovation Discovery Day at GITEX Future Stars on December 8th, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

“It was a great honor to be in Dubai with some of the most promising startups in the Israeli proptech and contech ecosystem,” Eliashiv said. “We were welcomed by our hosts with great hospitality and an open heart, and I believe the connections made this week will lead to lasting business relationships for both countries.”

Eliashiv also moderated a panel titled “How to increase collaboration between the UAE and Israel entrepreneurial ecosystems.” Participants included Yaron Sorek, CEO of Electra Construction, Israel’s leading construction company and Danish Chotani, CEO of Burj Financial.

The keynote and panel were followed by an Israeli Innovation Showcase featuring a number of the Startup Nation’s most promising proptech companies including Trusstor, a next-generation solution for construction management creating a safer and more productive working environment; SolidBlock, which utilizes asset tokenization to transform real estate into a tradable financial product; Augmind, a creator of 3D content for mobile, augmented reality, and virtual reality applications; and SkySaver, an emergency evacuation solution for high-rise buildings; MyTower, an online property management platform for building managers and occupants; and EverFlow, which digitizes real estate and other private securities.

GITEX is the only global tech show in 2020 that was live and in-person, with more than 1,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries. GITEX Future Stars is the biggest startup event for the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia.
