Battles with high-profile Pakistani politicians aside, for most of the group, in Israel for the first time, the visit was an eye-opening experience.
The two countries may seem worlds apart, but the people share so much in common, including history, innovation, chutzpah and a desire to get things done.
Edwin Tong, Singapore’s minister for culture, community and youth, says he relished the “opportunity to learn and understand the core tenets underlying the many diverse cultures and faiths around us.”
When it does go ahead, it will include discussions between Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz and India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh “with the aim of expanding and deepening cooperation.”
The company runs 227 stores and 24 malls in 22 countries in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the United States.
The Singapore-Israel Industrial Research & Development Foundation is also celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
The visit will mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Israel and India.
The subsonic missile, which has a maximum range of 290 kilometers (190 miles), was purchased by the Estonian Defense Forces in October.
“The more we help Israel in terms of their capability to deny Iran a nuclear weapon, the less likely we’ll have a war,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said, adding that the theUnited States should try to provide Israel with “anything that changes the equation.”
The U.S. president also welcomed a new $20 billion deal that Qatar Airways Group signed with Boeing to create jobs.
“The bottom line is that Kazakhstan is a very problematic country. Why? Because basically, it’s a target of many important global players, including Russia, Turkey, the U.S. and China, not to mention Islamist groups. They all have interests there,” said Zvi Magen, a researcher at the Tel Aviv-based Institute for National Security Studies.
The highest number of incidents were in Afghanistan, Iraq and Africa.
